| Description: | The Madison County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a Heavy Equipment Operator I for the Solid Waste Transfer Station.
Candidate must have a CDL Class A or Class B driver’s license, pass a drug screen, background check and have a good driving record. Candidate must be able to operate heavy equipment such as a Trac Hoe, Bob Cat, Fork Lift, 955 Hook Truck, Kubota Tractor/refuse trailer and Mack pick up. This Position will require walking, lifting and standing along with any other requirements needed to perform the job. The hours are Wednesday-Saturday from 7:00 to 6:00. Holidays may affect regular schedule work days. Candidate must also be able to work in the outside environment all year round.
