| Description: | The Madison County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for an Equipment Operator for the Road Department.
Candidate must have a CDL Class A or Class B driver’s license, pass a drug screen, background check and have a good driving record. Candidate must be able to operate heavy equipment such as a tractor, bull dozer, traffic roller, front end loader and dump truck, in the repair and maintenance of county roadways. Must be able to operate a backhoe for pipe installation, flag traffic, service equipment, and be skilled in the operation of a two way radio. This Position will require walking, lifting and standing along with any other requirements needed to perform the job. The hours are Monday –Friday from 7:30 to 4:00. Candidate must also be able to work in the outside environment all year round.
